I'm 18 and just got glasses this past fall :(

It was all very confusing and I don't really know if I'm near or far-sighted or when exactly I'm supposed to use them...as it stands today I only wear them when I drive, because I am legally obligated too lol

if your far sighted you cant see the words on teh book but you can see the billboard half mile away

Gee that explains a lot. Really.
I thought I'd never have to have glasses until 6th grade and suddenly I couldn't see the class board anymore and I was like, "What's on the board? A bear? a cloud? :confused:" So I had to get glasses before Jr. High.
Then again everyone in my family has glasses...it could be somewhat genetic.

I wear both glasses and contacts. I prefer to wear contacts because it is easier to play sports with contacts in then with glasses. I am far sighted in one eye and near sighted in the other eye.

I wear glasses and contacts, but recently I've worn my glasses more. I just haven't been in the mood to stick my finger in my eyes just so I can see without the $400.00 pair of glasses I have... It almost makes no sense. I pay $240.00 a year so I don't have to wear the $400.00 pair of glasses. Does that make any sense?
