So I was looking around and came across a youtube video about retouching model's photos. What they did was they had a host get into a bakini and stand up there and become a model with a professional photographer and photo editor.

She was... awesomely fit. The program was about being healthy and dieting etc. so she showed a clip of what she does and its like... exercising shit I couldn't pull off if my life depended on it.

He takes the shot of her... brings her into photoshop... and uses the liquefy tool. I never knew what the liquefy tool did so I got an old photo of me (clothed dont worry) and I edited it a bit... the left is before... the right is after.

What do you think about photo retouching? allowed or no? maybe a warning?

I'm not really a fan of photo retouching, aside from stuff like getting rid of zits or if you're tired when a photo is taken, getting rid of the bags under your eyes. Otherwise, I think it should be good lighting and that's it. Though, I like to retouch photos, so I'm not sure if that makes me hypocritical or what, haha. I never retouch my own, other than getting rid of a zit or two or something like that. The exception I think is just changing photo lighting colours and such for effect (a blue filter, for example), or else stuff that's obviously not meant to be real, such as when people give themselves cat eyes or something. Otherwise, just fiddle with levels and such to make the image more clear and the right colour.

Photoshop is the best computer program ever invented! I had a photography class last school year and we had to touch up photos with photoshop. I missed almost every deadline bc instead of doing the teachers' projects I made up my own. It is incredibly addicting for me and I know addiction.
