I'm so happy! I've been appointed as the DARE America Youth Representative of Ohio. My first meeting is in Quantico Marine Base in Washington, D.C. I'll be traveling across the country two or three times per year and around ohio at least once a month to speak at DARE events. I'm also going to start a Peer PLUS program for Youth in my area. I've already started planning that and I've set up several contacts.

So yeah, I'm really excited because this is huge for me (especially because I'll be running against less than 50 people for a $20000 scholarship in two years for it).

So yeah...YAY!

congrats! DARE is a great program, very sad that Lee County, FL cut the program.

Gratz! DARE is a great program, and aside from the financial incentive, the fact that you;re involved in something that can potentially make the place better is really awesome!
