Creativity Contests – Official Rules
The Teen Centre has decided to hold Creativity Contests, starting with Poetry. Any member of Teen Centre may submit an article by clicking here (https://sites.google.com/a/theteencentre.com/contests/Home/poetry-contest). Here are the general guidelines:
Content must comply with all forum rules and policies.
Must be original (submissions will be checked for originality). If plagiarism is suspected, you will be banned and the author will be contacted, if possible.
Members must have at least 5 posts on The Teen Centre.
Staff members may not submit articles.
Submissions will be accepted until April 10th, 2009. All submissions will be considered and staff will select the top ten in each category to be voted upon. Viewing and voting will open up on April 13th and run until April 20th, 2009. The winners are selected in this way:
Members Votes count for 60% of the tally.
Staff Votes count for 40% of the tally.
Winners will be announced on April 21st, 2009. The following places are available:
First Place – 1000 Teen Bucks and a ribbon for your signature linking to the winning submission.
Second Place – 500 Teen Bucks and a ribbon for your signature linking to the winning submission.
Third Place – 250 Teen Bucks and a ribbon for your signature linking to the winning submission.
