if you person have xp os why do they need to have shaired files?, when the amiga os only user's file formate. or any other os for computers.

hmm, If I got it right:

Having shared files and folders is on default enabled on Windows XP and Vista, but that can be disabled from the settings. Still though windows don't offer the security of the permission systems of Operating systems like Linux and other UNIX.
